Nock gun

The Nock gun was a seven barreled smoothbore flintlock firearm. Originally developed in 1779 for the Brittish Royal Navy it was designed to be fired from the ships rigging.  Introduced in the early stages of the Napoleonic Wars, the guns powerful recoil led to it being removed from Royal Navy issue in 1804.
